May 1st is the renewal date for annual membership in the West Fayette Friends of the Library. Your involvement helps us build our cash reserve and demonstrates active community interest for a library in Oakland – an important element in building momentum and opening avenues for organizational funding.

There are three levels of membership: individual ($10/year), family ($25/year) and corporate ($100/year). Membership benefits include access to the latest local library information, participation in directing supplemental library funding, and satisfaction from helping establish a vital component of our community. The monies raised via membership, combined with proceeds from the various fundraisers, will be used to help fund Library needs such as shelving, subscriptions, and computer hardware and software.

Once you have submitted your tax deductible WFFL membership, please become involved in our monthly meetings held on the third Tuesday of each month.. Beyond funding, we need the participation of community members who believe that a library will add tremendous value to our growing community and provide its citizens with food for their minds.

WFFL meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 7 PM. Meetings are currently being held in the Oakland Chamber of Commerce office at 75 Clay Street in Oakland.
